The Turner's unique Pink Stumps Day in Ingledale
Friends and family bring camp chairs, marquees and eskies. The teams are selected, the BBQ is fired up, and the competition begins.
This is how the Turner Family have embraced Pink Stumps Day and rallied their community behind the cause.
And the fun doesn't stop at cricket. A rowing challenge has become a crowd favourite, with participants competing throughout the day to set the fastest time in a 500m sprint on the rowing machine.
The Turner's Backyard rules:
- Everyone must play.
- Each player bowls an over
- Each batting partnership faces two overs
- If you get out you lose 5 runs but keep playing
- Hit the pyramid of drums on the roof of the shed +25 runs.
- Hit the pink forty four gallon drum on the field +10 run
