McGrath Cancer Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by cancer by providing invaluable clinical, psychosocial, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Big Hill Primary Staff Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Each October, Big Hill Primary staff proudly participate in the
“Bake Away Breast Cancer”
fundraiser to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
For four weeks, staff enjoy a selection of sweet treats available in the staffroom, with all proceeds going toward breast cancer research and support services.
Each treat bag is sold for $6, with funds collected through both cash donations and the online fundraising page.
Donations (and the level of sugar-fuelled enthusiasm!) often depend on how many bags our one or two dedicated bakers can produce and, of course, just how hungry the staff are on the day!
It’s a fun (and delicious!) way for staff to come together, raise awareness, and contribute to an important cause, all while enjoying a little something sweet
