City of Joondalup vs City of Wanneroo Pink Stumps Day 2026

It’s the City of Joondalup vs City of Wanneroo – all in the name of raising funds and awareness for the McGrath Foundation and cancer support.

The teams have been selected, players are in training, and now we need your help! We would love to see you and your family come along to our second annual Pink Stumps match to support this important cause.

This will be a family friendly event filled with activities for kids, as well as some other surprises that will be announced over the next few weeks.

And if you can't make it, you can donate now. Don’t forget to reference Joondalup or Wanneroo – there’s bragging rights for the City who can raise the most!

Event details:

• Friday 6 February 2026, 4pm
• Percy Doyle Reserve, Duncraig
• Wear pink

Modified rules:

• It’s a T20 style match, with 14 overs a side (total of 28 overs).
• It’s a 14-player team, with a mix of genders.
• You will bat in pairs, with two overs per pair, totalling 14 overs.
• If you get out, you stay in batting but runs will be deducted from your score.
• Every player bowls one over.
• Boundaries will be narrowed and rubber ball used so no need for helmet and pads.
