Geelong Cricket Club Pink Stumps Day

Pink is the colour of care

On Friday, 17th January, the Geelong Cricket Club will proudly host our inaugural Pink Stumps Day in the Bruce Moore Club Rooms, as our 1XI take on Fitzroy Doncaster on the main ground.

This special day is about more than just cricket — it’s our opportunity to show support for members of the GCC family and friends who have been touched by cancer, and to contribute to an incredible cause that reflects our club’s values of community, care, and connection.

Pink Stumps Day is part of the McGrath Foundation’s mission to fund Cancer Care Nurses across Australia, ensuring that individuals and families experiencing cancer receive the care and support they need.

We invite all players, supporters, and the wider community to come together — wear pink and enjoy a great day of cricket. Every donation, big or small, goes directly toward supporting this vital cause.

Join us for a great day of cricket, connection, and pink spirit — and help us make a real difference. Every donation, raffle ticket, and word of support counts.

Let’s turn the Bruce Moore Rooms pink and make a difference that lasts well beyond the boundary!

McGrath Cancer Care Nurses provide expert care and support to people and their families experiencing any type of cancer for free right across Australia.
