At the Gawler & Barossa Jockey Club, we’re proud to support the McGrath Foundation because cancer impacts so many lives in our community. The McGrath Foundation now provides specialist nursing care and support for people and families affected by all types of cancer.
By fundraising together, we aim to help ensure that anyone facing a cancer diagnosis has access to expert care, guidance, and comfort when they need it most.
Cancer doesn’t discriminate, and neither do we. Supporting the McGrath Foundation means standing with families through some of their toughest moments — and helping bring hope and strength to those who need it.

Gawler Racecourse Goes Pink – Supporting the McGrath Foundation!
Join us on Saturday, January 3rd for a special day at the Gawler & Barossa Jockey Club as we celebrate the iconic Pink Test Match with thrilling racing, live cricket, and fundraising to support the McGrath Foundation.
What’s On:
Exciting live racing action
Pink Test Match live on the big screen
$10 from every hospitality package purchased donated directly to the McGrath Foundation
Every time a jockey wearing the McGrath Foundation Community Friend Silks wins a race, an additional $1,000 will be donated
Race Day Raffle proceeds will also support the cause
Dress Code: Think PINK! Help us turn the racecourse into a sea of pink and show your support for this important cause.
