Why Impact has gone pink?
As a group we continuously find ways to make a positive impact in our community.
With Breast Cancer Awareness Month arising, we discovered that a large portion of our team knew someone that has been diagnosed and effected by breast cancer. Whether it was someone's mum, sister, wife, auntie, friend, colleague; it had touched so many. It’s truly devastating to come to terms with, not only inside our organisation but throughout our community. So, this October, the entirety of the Impact Realty Group is going pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to help raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. The support will move us closer to a future where no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse. Every day in Australia, an average of 57 people are diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia for women, and can affect the lives of so many.
We decided to focus our time, energy and fundraising efforts towards the brilliant work of the McGrath Foundation. All funds raised will go towards providing continuous nursing services which not only improves the experience and outcomes of a person diagnosed with breast cancer, but also much needed support to their family and friends.
We are welcoming our community to join us in making a positive impact on those affected by breast cancer. Thank you for your support.
