I want to sincerely thank everyone who has donated and supported Mum’s final wish by contributing to the McGrath Foundation. When we first started this fundraiser, our goal was just $500. Thanks to the incredible generosity and support from everyone, we’ve raised five times that amount.
Your kindness means so much to our family, and it’s amazing to see so many people come together to support such an important cause. Every donation helps the McGrath Foundation continue their work supporting families affected by breast cancer.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us honour Mum’s wish.

We are raising money in loving memory of our mum, Annette Tancred, who sadly passed away on 29 January 2026 after an eight-year battle with breast cancer.
Throughout her illness, Mum was supported by the McGrath Nurses, whose care, compassion, and dedication made an enormous difference to her quality of life. We have no doubt that their support helped keep Mum with us for the extra years we were so grateful to have.
In honour of the incredible care she received, Mum requested that no flowers be given at her funeral. Instead, she asked that donations be made to the McGrath Foundation, so they can continue supporting individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
More people deserve more time with the ones they love. We were lucky enough to be given that time, and this is our way of saying thank you and helping others have the same chance.
