Pink is the Colour of Kilcoy Region
We are calling on all of Kilcoy and surrounds to help us fundraise in support of the McGrath Cancer Care Nurses and have a whole lot of fun leading up to the month of October.
The McGrath Cancer Care nurses assist all patients in all cancers - not just breast cancer. It is a free service to ensure that no one goes without care.
The McGrath Foundation are currently recruiting and training Cancer Care Nurses to work in Regional areas - just like Kilcoy. So, we need to help them help us.
We are also working alongside Kilcoy's "Breast and the Rest" Cancer Support Group.
We are calling on you - our locals, sports clubs, community groups, schools and local businesses to get behind our efforts to turn our town pink and create a visual show of support for people in the Kilcoy area experiencing cancer and for those that may need help in the future..
McGrath Cancer Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by cancer by providing invaluable clinical, psychosocial, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment. Their service is free to all.
Let's show them what Kilcoy can do!
Thank you so much for your support.
