In 2024, we raised $7,219.08 to support people experiencing cancer. Let’s smash that target this year!
Peabody has great fun fundraising each year to ensure that no one goes through cancer without the care of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse.
We are aware a cancer diagnosis can change your life in an instant and the impact can be felt right through your family, friends, and community.
Last year we had the privilege of learning from a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse that they provide clinical, psychosocial and emotional support to people with any type of cancer throughout their treatment.
To raise awareness for the health of our people at Peabody, and much needed funds for McGrath, we are holding a Breast Cancer Awareness Morning Tea in October and are honoured to have Tracy Bevan attend and speak at our event. Tracy helped set up the McGrath Foundation with her best friend, Jane McGrath, in 2005.
We are also offering, for any donation made to McGrath of $45 or more, for donors to receive one of our Peabody and Vendor sponsored merchandise items. This year we have chosen a large rugged backpack, powerpack and multicable, and an eco lunchbox and cutlery.
