Pink is the colour of care
For decades, Geoff Wilson has pushed the limits of human endurance, tackling extraordinary expeditions that inspire people to think differently about what is possible.
In 2027, Geoff will attempt something that has never been achieved before: crossing the Western Australian Deserts via the Canning Stock Route - 1850 km across the Tanami, Great Sandy, Little Sandy and Gibson Deserts. But this expedition is about more than adventure.
Geoff is undertaking the Pink Desert Expedition to raise vital funds and awareness for the McGrath Foundation, a cause that has been close to his heart for many years. More recently, however, the mission has become deeply personal.
After his mother was diagnosed with cancer, both Geoff and his family experienced firsthand the impact of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse. Through one of life's most challenging moments, they saw the difference that expert clinical care, guidance, and support can make for both patients and their loved ones.
This expedition is Geoff's way of giving back and ensuring more Australian families can access the same support when they need it most.
