Pink is the colour of care
Hi, I'm Ash.
A few weeks ago, at 37 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump myself. Like many people, I never expected to hear those words, especially while feeling completely healthy.
Since my diagnosis, I've experienced first-hand how important support, information and community are during what can be a really overwhelming time. That's why I've chosen to support the McGrath Foundation.
On Friday 10 July, I'll be hosting 🎀 TA-TA'S & TINNIES 🍻 at Redhead Bowling Club — a fun, family-friendly community fundraiser bringing together friends, family, local businesses and the wider community to raise funds for the incredible work of McGrath Breast Care Nurses.
These nurses provide free clinical, emotional and practical support to individuals and families experiencing breast cancer, and their impact reaches far beyond treatment alone.
If you've chosen to support this fundraiser, thank you. Every donation, raffle ticket, shared post and contribution will help ensure more Australians have access to the care and support they need when facing breast cancer.
With love,
Ash 💗

TA-TA'S & TINNIES is a community fundraising event being held at Redhead Bowling Club on 10 July 2026 in support of the McGrath Foundation.
Following my recent breast cancer diagnosis, I wanted to turn a difficult situation into something positive by bringing together friends, family, local businesses and the wider community to raise funds and awareness.
The event will be a family-friendly afternoon featuring raffles, games, entertainment, food, drinks and community activities, with all funds raised supporting the McGrath Foundation and the vital work of McGrath Breast Care Nurses.
We are also partnering with local businesses who are generously donating vouchers, products, services and sponsorships to help create an exciting raffle and fundraising activities throughout the day.
Thank you for your support
