Orange High Pink Stumps

Supporting families experiencing breast cancer through our love for cricket!

Pink is the colour of play

This cricket season, we want to make a difference!

We will be getting out this Pinks Stumps Day because no one should go through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.

McGrath Breast Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by breast cancer by providing invaluable physical, psychological, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

All funds raised go towards helping the McGrath Foundation reach their goal of 250 nurses by 2025, to work towards ensuring no one misses out on care.

Thank you so much for your support.

Pink Stumps Day

Date

14/12/2023 - 14/12/2023

Event Details

On Thursday the 14th of December the whole school will participate in by either playing or spectating a teachers v students cricket match. For students who are not participating there are extra activities such as face painting, Lollie jar guessing, footy throwing and much more to help raise extra funds. This is now an annual event at our school and one the whole school loves. Students wear causal clothes on the day with the pink theme and prizes are awarded for best dressed. There is also a whole school BBQ. Our SRC work hard to think of activities/ fundraising ideas for the day. Who doesn’t love teacher v student rivalry. Teachers of OHS are aiming to keep their winning title again in 2023.
