I am fundraising to ensure that no one goes through cancer without the care of a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse. 

McGrath Cancer Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by cancer by providing invaluable clinical, psychosocial, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Good news!

As many of you discovered recently or at my 60th party that my sister Catherine has been recently affected by breast cancer!  The last four months have been a roller coast of emotions.

This was the reason I decided to ask my friends to donate to the McGrath Foundation rather than receiving gifts.  The best birthday gift I could have wished for came on Friday with the news that Catherine is now free of breast cancer.

Thank you to those who have donated it’s been wonderful that you’ve dug deep and been so generous with your donations!  It truly has been the best birthday gift knowing that other women who will have to do this cancer journey will have support that has been so readily available for Catherine.  The McGrath Foundation are now wanting to support all cancers not just breast cancer.  We all know a loved one that has been affected by cancer and to have support at the most challenging of times cannot be ever be understated.
