McGrath Cancer Care Nurses help individuals and their families affected by cancer by providing invaluable clinical, psychosocial, and emotional support from the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment.

Hosted by Treading Lightly Inc. and makers+menders, learn to make a beautiful coiled basket (pink, of course!) using repurposed fabric, rope and thread. Settle in with a cuppa and cake — every dollar of your ticket supports the McGrath Foundation.
Join us for an inclusive, hands-on session where you’ll learn the foundations of coiled basketry. We’ll “pink it up” by repurposing pre-loved fabric, rope and thread — keeping useful materials in circulation and skills alive. You’ll head home with a small basket (or a strong start) and the confidence to keep making.
