Pink is the colour of care
At Windang Public School, we’re pretty well known for our pink uniforms and this Pink Day, we’re proud to channel our colours to support a cause that is close to the hearts of many in our school community.
Every day, 450 people in Australia are diagnosed with cancer. Behind every diagnosis is a person, a family and a community whose lives can be changed in an instant.
The McGrath Foundation funds McGrath Cancer Care Nurses who provide free clinical, emotional and psychosocial support to people with any type of cancer and their families.
Through our Pink Day morning tea and community fundraising, we hope to help fund more McGrath Cancer Care Nurses and make sure more people can access the care they need, when they need it most.
We’re grateful to our Windang families for coming together, wearing pink, showing their support and helping make a difference.
Because at Windang, we don't just wear our colours, we channel them for a good cause.💗
Thank you for your support
