Wandoan Camel Races - Raising special funds for our local Community Kindergarten - 7th October 2023.

Wandoan is a small rural community however the kids are fortunate to have access to a Kindergarten which is largely managed by volunteers. Kindy is a wonderful place for our kids to be creative, foster friendships, to develop and grow. A supportive environment that assists with the transition to Prep.

This year our Fashions on the Field is going PINK - a fun colour to dress up with but also to align with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our aim is for the pink people wear on the day, this will spark awareness and conversation around early signs, early detection, early diagnosis for the best outcomes.

Special Guests attending this year's Wandoan Camel Races and Fashions on the Field are 4 nurses from the McGrath Foundation, nurses from Brisbane, Warwick and Gladstone. These McGrath Nurses are excited to be supporting our Kindy fundraising efforts and stoked that we are highlighting Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
